Donkey Kong Country TV series now available on Amazon Freevee

The Donkey Kong Country TV series is now available to watch via the Amazon Freevee streaming service. This is a free streaming channel that’s part of their Prime Video service. As the name implies, it’s completely free, although there are ads interspersed with the show.

Donkey Kong Country originally aired in 1997 on the Canadian network Teletoon. It ran for two seasons, and had a total of 40 episodes. Inspired by the beloved video game of the same name, this CGI animated series follows Donkey Kong and his pal Diddy Kong as they travel far and wide in their journey to defeat the evil King K. Rool.

If you’ve never seen the Donkey Kong Country TV show, you’re in for a treat! It’s a supremely weird animated show which departs from the games in many ways. Most episodes also feature some bizarrely catchy songs for you to hum and confuse your friends with.
