TimeSplitters PS5 And PS4 Rating Spotted, Likely Indicating The PS2 Classic Is Coming To The PS Plus Premium Classic’s Catalog

A rating from the Taiwan ratings board for TimeSplitters on PS5 and PS4 has been spotted, which could be an indication that the PS2 classic is soon to be added to the list of PS2 games available on the PS Plus Premium Classic’s Catalog.

Spotted by Gematsu, this rating hopefully means the much-missed franchise will become available to play on modern PlayStation consoles again.

Especially since the dream of having TimeSplitters return through Free Radical is well and truly dead thanks to Embracer Group.

Seeing the original return to PlayStation consoles, even if it is just through this subscription service might be the best way to play it now and in the future.

We’ve already seen multiple PS2 games make their way to PS5 and PS4, with classics like Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus and the entire Jak and Daxter franchise now all available on PS5 and PS4.

The original TimeSplitters would be a welcomed addition to the list, so hopefully this is the first sign of its coming release.
