Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’s Currently Announced Roadmap Will Be Completed, Confirms Warner Bros

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that the currently announced roadmap for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be completed, but wouldn’t reveal what its plans are for the game beyond this.

A spokesperson told IGN that while the roadmap of planned content would continue as planned, “we are not yet discussing anything that is not announced.”

The comments come following an extensive report on Suicide Squad on Bloomberg late last week, where it was revealed the the game cost Warner Bros. in the region of $200 million in losses. Furthermore, it was also claimed that many staff at Rocksteady Studios are now helping out on an as-yet unannounced director’s cut version of Hogwarts Legacy, while studio leaders are reportedly pitching a single-player game to return to its roots.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a major departure from Rocksteady’s previous titles, the Batman Arkham universe, eschewing single-player, narrative-driven content in favour of a live service approach. The game launched in February 2024 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and you can read our full verdict here.
