Square Enix Teases Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, Reveal Could Be Soon To Come
Square Enix has teased a project we’ve not heard about for what feels like a long time. A teaser for the coming Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was tweeted out by the official Dragon Quest Twitter account.
A short clip that says “The legacy begins,” with a caption above it that says “The legend of Erdrick draws near.”
With June now around the corner, this could be a tease ahead of an announcement that’ll arrive with the rest of the Summer Games Fest chaos that’s soon to come.
The last we heard on the coming remake was from the series creator Yuji Horii, who said that the remake was “progressing steadily” in September 2023, though that’s the last word we’ve had.
Besides that, Square Enix last commented on the game back when it was confirmed in 2021. If this is a tease for a coming reveal, then it’s likely we won’t have to wait very long to find out more about the coming remake.
