New Respawn Job Listing Points To Multiplayer FPS Project
Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind Apex Legends and Titanfall, has revealed that its incubation game team is seeking a design director with “multiplayer FPS experience.”
There’s nothing known right now as to what the project is going to be based on, but it is described as “a rare leadership opportunity to drive the game design on a new incubation project in the early stages.” Given this info, it sounds like the game is still a long ways off, so don’t expect anything concrete for a while.

EA announced earlier in the year that 670 employees were being laid off as a result of a strategic shift within the company, which included the cancellation of Respawn’s Star Wars FPS. Reportedly, this game was going to be based on the Mandalorian.
Respawn has been heavily focussed on Apex Legends in recent years, and the game celebrated its fifth anniversary back in February. Beyond that, it was reported back in March that Respawn is working on a new game set in the Titanfall universe, but it’s apparently not Titanfall 3.
