Moon Studios Features New Look At No Rest For The Wicked Gameplay In Wicked: Inside Showcase

Moon Studios, the team best known for the two Ori titles is working on a new game coming to more than just Xbox platforms with No Rest For The Wicked.

On Friday, Moon Studios premiered a new series of showcases for No Rest For The Wicked called Wicked: Inside. The showcase featured a look at the story, combat, exploration and more elements of the game.

After it was confirmed that No Rest For The Wicked would be delayed earlier this month, this showcase revealed that No Rest For The Wicked will launch on PC on April 18, 2024 as an Early Access title.

From there, Moon Studios will continue to tweak it with community support until a 1.0 launch sometime later this year, at which point it’ll also release on consoles.

Until then, Friday’s showcase is the most we’ve seen of No Rest For The Wicked yet, and showed us that Moon Studios is entering a new genre with a potentially iconic new entry.

This will be the first game from Moon Studios that won’t be available on all other platforms save PlayStation. Though, now that Microsoft is clearly more open to getting IP it owns to players on platforms it’s not been to yet, we could see the Ori games come to PS5.

Of course, whether or not that’ll come to pass remains to be seen.
