Tomoya Asano Promises ‘New Developments’ On The Future Of Bravely Default Later This Year
Bravely Default Producer Tomoya Asano has revealed that fans will be treated new info about the future of the franchise later this year, as the second entry series celebrates its third anniversary today.
Asano-san marked the occasion with a post on Twitter, with a Google translation reading as follows:
[Bravely] Default 2 3rd anniversary celebration!” Many messages will be sent during the year-end and New Year project. Thank you! I’m sure we’ll be able to tell you about some developments in the Bravely series this year, so please keep an eye out for it.

Asano previously worked on a number of DS versions of Final Fantasy games, including Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV, and also served as producer on both Octopath Traveler and its 2023 sequel.
Bravely Default was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2012 and launched in Europe and the US in 2024.
