Lost Boys Interactive Reportedly Has Seen A ‘Sizable Portion’ Of Staff Laid Off By Embracer Group
Embracer Group has reportedly laid off a ‘sizable portion’ of staff at Lost Boys Interactive, the Gearbox support studio founded in 2017 that as worked on the likes of Borderlands 3 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
According to a report on Aftermath, Lost Boys Interactive was hit by layoffs on Friday, although right now it isn’t known exactly how many people were let go. However, Jared Pace, the studio’s producer, revealed that a “sizeble portion” had lost their jobs, including himself.
Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Lost Boys Interactive announced today it was letting go of some of its team, including myself. Please reach out if you know of someone in need of a producer or really any position. Looks like many disciplines and XP levels were affected.

Embracer Group saw a huge number of layoffs throughout 2023, and in November it was revealed that around 900 people had lost their jobs during the company’s second quarter.
