10 Years Later, Would You Consider The Xbox One Era Officially Over?

For some of the games that aren’t natively playable on Xbox One, there’s Xbox Cloud Gaming as well. All of Xbox’s first-party titles in recent years have been exclusive to the Xbox Series X and Series S along with PC, but through the power of Cloud Gaming and Xbox Game Pass, they can all be streamed to Xbox One instead.

Each of these features have allowed to the Xbox One to enjoy a much longer lifespan than you might expect, and as things stand we can’t see an end in sight! Sure, it makes sense to upgrade to a newer console for all kinds of reasons, but if you’re just a casual fan who doesn’t care much about visual improvements or frame rates, it’s still a decent option.

So, is it fair to suggest the Xbox One era isn’t “over” as we approach 2024, even though the Xbox Series X and S have been available for over three years now? If so, when do you think games will actually stop being produced for it? It’s a system that stopped production quite a while ago, but many developers clearly haven’t given up on it yet.
