PlayStation Studios And Friends Wish Players Happy Holidays With This Year’s Annual Greeting Cards

In what’s become a yearly tradition now for the PlayStation Blog, greeting cards from each studio under PlayStation Studios and a fair number of studios and publishers PlayStation has and continues to work with.

Last year the holiday cards were especially interesting as it looked like Bluepoint Games was teasing a potential announcement for their next project.

Shortly after the new year started however Bluepoint tempered expectations by coming out and telling players that they are working on something new, but won’t be revealing it until the team feels it’s ready.

Unsurprisingly then we didn’t hear anything about what Bluepoint is doing this year, and this year’s greeting card is seemingly in no way a tease for anything.

In fact none of the cards from any of the PlayStation Studios teams seemed to be teases for anything, which is almost a bit of a disappointment.

Bluepoint Games isn’t the only team under Sony’s banner that we still need to hear from. Sucker Punch, Naughty Dog, Bend Studio, Sony Santa Monica, Media Molecule, Firesprite, Guerilla Games, Housemarque, and Team Asobi have all been quiet for some time.

In defense of Santa Monica and Guerilla, both of those teams just got done releasing a giant sequel (plus some DLC for it last week) and a fairly sized DLC expansion, respectively.

While it would be great to hear from any of these teams, it’s arguably Naughty Dog who ought to speak up about what they’re doing sooner rather than later, especially since The Last Of Us Online has been cancelled.
