The Last Of Us Part 2 Is Down To $20 On PS4 For Black Friday Via PS Direct
PlayStation Direct is getting in on the Black Friday deals, and is offering one of the PS4’s biggest hits, The Last of Us Part 2, for just $20.
While The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is coming out in only a few months for the PS5, if you own the PS4 version of the game you can upgrade for $10, so it’s still a very solid deal. You’ll need to insert your PS4 disc to play the remaster if you upgrade, but that’s hardly anything to complain about to be honest.
The Last of Us Part 2 was released for the PS4 in June 2020, and picks up a few years after the events of the original game. Joel and Ellie are now living a relatively peaceful life in secure community, although it isn’t long before things soon turn grim events transpire that will irrevocably change things forever for Ellie and he fellow survivors.
Naughty Dog confirmed that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is more than just a glow-up of the original version. Yes, there’s some significant visual and performance enhancements, but players also get a new, roguelike mode in the shape of No Return, and can also play the Lost Levels, which are areas that were cut from the main game.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is due out on January 19, 2024.
