Sony Has Updated PS5 UI To Show Which Games Are Streamable Via PS Plus Premium
The PS5 UI is being updated by Sony to show which titles that PS Plus Premium owners are able to stream on their console, with a new logo now accompanying the interface.
Appearing next to a game title, the logo features a PS Plus symbol and a cloud with a PlayStation controller icon in the middle, denoting that the game is able to be streamed. This feature is available exclusively for PS Plus Premium owners, and is receiving a staggered rollout from Sony; Japan got in first on October 17, with Europe starting earlier this week. North American users will gain access from October 30.

PS Plus Premium streaming service offers a number of resolutions including 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, which is slightly more advantageous than Xbox Cloud, as Microsoft’s offering doesn’t include 4K. Obviously you’ll need a solid Internet connection support higher resolutions, and not every PS5 game is able to be streamed.
