Lords Of The Fallen Has Sold More Than 1 Million Copies In Its First 10 Days
CI Games sequel/reboot with the same name as its 2014 predecessor, Lords Of The Fallen, has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide, in just its first 10 days since its launch.
CI Games and developer Hexworks took to the game’s official Twitter account to share the news, and thank fans with an image celebrating the milestone.
“Thanks to you, our fearless Lampbearers, the radiance of Mournstead rekindles…”
It’s clear that Lords Of The Fallen has been the success, and potentially even more, that CI Games and Hexworks was hoping for.
CI Games chief executive officer even stated that thanks to its strong launch, CI Games is “well positioned” for its two coming projects ahead of announcing any sales numbers.
Lords Of The Fallen is the latest Soulslike to enter the now crowded genre though this time it has the benefit of being built entirely in Unreal Engine 5 to both look and feel like a truly new generation of game.
Unfortunately its technical issues slowed it down at launch, though with those fixed its a fierce contender for your time in a year that seems crowded with great games.
