Have You Ever Bought An Xbox For One Specific Game?

We’re obviously now on the verge of Starfield’s release, and we’ve been seeing a fair bit of discussion in the game’s community about whether that one game alone is worth buying a new Xbox Series X or Series S console for.

Ultimately, if you don’t have access to a good gaming PC or a reliable Xbox Cloud Gaming connection, it makes sense! With the standard Xbox Series S retailing for £249.99 / $299.99, it’s a relatively affordable way to join the fun.

Discussions like these remind us of past Xbox launches that have also inspired fans to go out and buy an Xbox console just based on that one game. The Halo franchise obviously comes to mind, as does Gears. Forza Horizon is another one, and even Microsoft Flight Simulator inspired a bunch of Xbox purchases a couple of years ago.
