Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Is Reportedly Getting Banned In The Middle-East

The highly anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is reportedly banned in the Middle-East, with PS5 owners no longer able to preorder the game on the region’s PlayStation Store.

In addition to the preorder disappearing mere hours after it was put up, the Digital Deluxe Edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as well as its age ratings, price, and release date can no longer be viewed. Given the laws regarding LGBTQ+ in the Middle-East, it has been speculated that the game has been banned.

The Middle-Eastern PS Store only displays ‘announced’ for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, as opposed to the UK and US stores that display the release date and age ratings. Keep in mind that nothing official has been announced yet regarding the game’s status in the region, so we’ll have to wait and see.
