Skull Island: Rise Of Kong Officially Announced For PS5 & PS4, Coming Fall 2023
Following its leak yesterday via Amazon Spain, Skull Island: Rise of Kong has been officially confirmed by IguanaBee and GameMill Entertainment for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
While there’s the bog-standard version of the game that will set you back $39.99, Skull Island: Rise of Kong will also come in a “Colossal Edition” for $49.99, which features eight exclusive film grains including those that capture the look of the classic 1933 and 1970s-era King Kong films.

Players will begin their journey as the orphaned Kong follow his rise to the King of Skull Island, beginning his hunt for revenge against Gaw. Kong will be able to unleash devastating combos against Gaw’s minions across the island, while utilising his rage to unlock even more powerful attacks.
Kong is able to unlock new abilities through social events and intense boss encounters, and players can expect to explore varied locations including mountainous terrain, jungles, swamps, and skullite-filled caves to uncover hidden collectibles and new areas.
Skull Island: Rise of Kong is due out in Fall 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
