Luckily, the Johto evolution items are a lot easier to get than some of the more recent additions like the Sinnoh Stone and Pokémon Go Gimmighoul and Gholdengo Coins. You have a small chance to get a Dragon Scale from spinning the photo discs at PokéStops and gyms and you’re guaranteed one of the Johto evolution items for completing a seven-day PokéStop spin streak.

The professor sometimes gives out Dragon Scales as research task rewards, or you have a chance to unbox one in a present from one of your pals.

How do I use the Pokémon Go Dragon Scale?

The Pokémon Go Dragon Scale is used to evolve Seadra into Kingdra. To do this, you must collect a Dragon Scale and 100 Horsea candies. Once you have everything, you can evolve your Seadra into a Kingdra by pressing the evolve button on your Seadra’s page.
