Five Nights at Freddy’s Film Is Launching In Cinemas & On Peacock October 27
Blumhouse has announced that the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie will debut in cinemas and streaming in the US on October 27, 2023.
Jason Blum, the CEO of Blumhouse, posted the following message on Twitter:
As promised – FNAF fans, you asked and we delivered. Five Nights at Freddy’s movie is coming this Halloween on October 27, 2023! 205 days until the party.
Elsewhere, a report on Variety claimed that NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, Peacock, will also be receiving the movie on the same day as it hits cinemas. Five Nights at Freddy’s will be the third year in a row that a horror movie has hit cinemas and Peacock just before Halloween, the others being Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

Created by Scott Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy’s has seen nine mainline games to date and focuses on the Freddy Faber’s Pizza restaurant, which features animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear as its mascot. Players usually take on the role of a night-time employee who has to make use of various tools to defend themselves against hostile animatronic characters.
