Crystal Dynamics Says Goodbye To Marvel’s Avengers In Final Update 2.8 Patch Notes

Marvel’s Avengers has received its final content update ever. Crystal Dynamics won’t be working on any new content for the game’s future, and it’ll be taken off digital storefronts this September.

Along with the final patch notes, Crystal Dynamics also published two new videos, one from the studio directly saying thank you and goodbye to the community, and another from Ms. Marvel actor Sandra Saad, saying her own thank you’s and goodbyes, difficult as it may be.

The videos, and messages from Crystal Dynamics since it announced the sunsetting of Marvel’s Avengers all presents a feeling of a team who didn’t expect to be saying goodbye so soon.
