New details shared on AEW: Fight Forever’s cover, story mode, and more
The AEW: Fight Forever game was known to be in the works for over a year now, but we learned of a Switch version just last week. Since that announcement there have been a few other details shared that give insight into the game’s cover, development, and more.
First up, THQ Nordic put together the game’s cover art, which we shared early last week. The wrestlers who appear on the cover found out about the news at the same time as the cover’s leak. That same goes for AEW itself, which also wasn’t involved in the cover’s creation.
For those wondering, AEW: Fight Forever will indeed include a story mode, but it appears developer Yuke’s is looking to spice things up. We don’t have specifics on what the story mode will include, but we do know the team is aiming to offer an experience very different from past wrestling games. Apparently there will also be some sort of mini-game included, and it will spotlight wrestler Orange Cassidy.
Finally, Yuke’s is currently putting in a lot of time to squash some bugs and work on fixes overall. Yuke’s reputation has fallen quite low in recent years, and it seems they want this return to wrestling games to reflect the hard work and effort they’re putting into this project.
