Genshin Impact Tighnari banner, skills, and leaks

With Sumeru and the dendro element hitting Genshin Impact soon, Tighnari, the vigilant forest watcher, is coming forth to teach you the ways of the land. As the lead ranger of the Dawson Rainforest, he’s pretty darn knowledgeable when it comes to his nation’s flora, and you should probably take his guidance seriously, unless you fancy accidentally munching on a poisonous mushroom.

But Genshin Impact’s Tighnari is more than a mere encyclopaedia – we believe he may be the first five-star dendro character in the game. Which, you know, is a pretty big deal considering how long we’ve been waiting for this element to arrive. So let’s take a look at this nature-loving scholar, as we dive into his release date, banner, skills, and everything we know about him so far.

Of course, Tighnari isn’t the only character arriving alongside Genshin Impact’s Sumeru, as Genshin Impact’s Collei and Genshin Impact’s Dori are also due to join the party near the beginning of update 3.0, and you can find out all about them, along with info on Genshin Impact’s next banner, right here on Pocket Tactics.

Who is Genshin Impact’s Tighnari?

Tighnari is the lead ranger of the Dawson rainforest and is responsible for both maintaining the land’s ecology and ensuring the safety of anyone who enters it. As is befitting for the nation of scholars, he is extremely knowledgeable in his area and is certainly the type of person you want around during a hefty expedition due to his vast understanding of the flora and fauna around him.

Tighnari is a five-star dendro bow wielder whose kit seems similar to that of Genshin Impact’s Ganyu, meaning he’ll likely excel as a DPS or sub-DPS.

When is Genshin Impact Tighnari’s release date?

During the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream, Hoyoverse announced that Tighnari will be featured on a banner in the first phase of 3.0. He will run alongside Genshin Impact’s Zhongli, with Genshin Impact’s Collei as one of the four stars accompanying him.

What are Genshin Impact Tighnari’s skills?

Here are all the details we currently know about Tighnari’s skills.

Skill Effect
Khanda Barrier-Buster (normal attack) Perform up to four consecutive shots with a bow
Khanda Barrier-Buster (charged) Perform a more precise aimed shot with increased damage. While aiming, the power of dendro accumulates on the arrowhead There are two different levels of charge.
Charge level one: fire an arrow carrying the power of flora, dealing dendro damage
Charge level two: fire a Wreath Arrow that deals dendro damage. Upon hit, the Wreath Arrow creates four Clusterbloom Arrows that track nearby enemies and deal dendro damage on hit
Khanda Barrier-Buster (plunge) Fire off a shower of arrows in mid-air, before fallinf and striking the ground, dealing AoE damage on impact
Vijnana-Phala Mine (elemental skill) Throw a Vijanana Stormheart ahead, dealing AoE dendro damage and creating a Vijnana-Khanda field that inflicts enemies in range with confusion. Tighnari also gains the Vijnana Penetrator effect, decreasing the next Wreath Arrow’s charge time by 1.5 seconds. This effect dissipates once the skill duration ends, or after you fire three Wreath Arrows
Fashioner’s Tanglevine Shaft Combine the power of all seeds to fire six Tanglevine Shafts that track opponents, dealing dendro damage. Upon hit, the Tanglevine Shafts create a secondary wave of Tanglevine Shafts that can also track opponents and deal dendro damage on hit
Encyclopaedic Knowledge (passive) Displays the location of nearby resources unique to Sumeru on the minimap

And that’s everything we know about Genshin Impact’s Tighnari at the moment. Either way, it shouldn’t be long until our new dendro pals arrive, so be sure to check out our Genshin Impact codes and start stashing those primos.
