Residence Accomodations
The Spirit Village Residence is centrally located on the Algoma University campus, less than a minute walk to classes, computer labs, a fitness facility, and major transit routes.
The residence features a 45-bed dormitory style building and 76 beds in 15 townhouse style units. The dormitory has individual bedrooms, one shared bathroom for every two rooms, and a common living room. The townhouse style units each offer 5 private bedrooms with individual keys, two bathrooms, a common living room area and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedding, towels and cleaning service are provided. One full handicap service suite and 3 handicap bedrooms in the dormitory with elevator access are also available.
First-year undergrad students are typically offered dormitory accomodation; upper year and graduate students are offered townhouse accomodation. Wireless and wired internet connection and local phone access are available in all rooms. There are also on campus laundry facilities, television rooms and outdoor patios.
