Scholars enrolled in the Master of Science (Computer Games Technology) degree at Algoma University have special access to their own dedicated Game Development Studio. This studio is equipped with the latest state-of the art equipment, PC's, and consoles. At Algoma University we take pride in our ability to offer a 1:1 ratio of high end PC's to students in the MSc (Computer Games Technology) degree - each student is able to claim their own! Project games can be tested on a cross section of the latest consoles connected to a plasma display and an excellent home audio system.
Project games can be tested on a cross section of the latest consoles connected to a plasma display and an excellent home audio system. All resources in the Game Development Studio are connected to our high speed Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure, one of the fastest in Ontario. A library of computer games for many console formats is also available to students to help spark the creative process.
