Required Documents
The following documents are required for your application:
- Completed Algoma University Application Form.doc
- Two letters of reference. One referee should be from your undergraduate university. Please list referee contact information on the Application Form. Letters must be on official letterhead and sealed in an envelope with the signature of the referee across the seal.
- Personal Statement. This is a very important part of the application; it is your opportunity to explain why you are applying, what you hope to do after graduation, and why you should be a part of the program. Please detail your interest in gaming technology and relevant experience. This is also your opportunity to highlight any additional information you feel is relevant to your application.
- Official university transcripts and high school transcripts (if you are in the final year of your university degree, please attach a letter from the Office of the Registrar at your current university detailing your expected date of graduation). Please note: we can accept scanned or faxed documents for initial processing, but your educational institutes must directly mail us your official transcripts before an admissions decision can be made.
- A current resume/CV.
- Certified proof of competence in the English Language (if English is not your first language). Please see English as a Second Language for more information on acceptable certified proof.
- $50 CAD application processing fee payable to: Algoma University
