Financial Assistance for Graduate Studies
There are a variety of financial assistance options available for students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate studies at Algoma University. There are two main types of funding available: internal and external funding. Off Campus Jobs
If you are an international student and you've met the work permit requirements, or if you are a Canadian student, you are welcome to apply for jobs off campus as well. We have a career counsellor on campus who can point you in the right direction, and we also have a variety of workshops available to assist you in writing your resume.
Loans/Lines of Credit
Students in undergraduate studies at Algoma University may qualify for OSAP funding. Please consult with Algoma University's Financial Aid Office for more details, or visit www.osap.gov.on.ca for details. Currently the MSc Computer Games Technology degree is not OSAP eligible, so if you require further financial assistance you can pursue a loan or a line of credit through your preferred bank.
Sponsorship
If you are ambitious you can pursue sponsorship through a local company to assist you with paying your fees. This option would have to be individually pursued and we would not be able to assist. We can also not guarantee any success with sponsorship.
