Graduate Tuition and Financial Information
The tuition fee for the Master of Science (Computer Games Technology) degree is $27,024.70 plus required ancillary fees. The cost breakdown for September 2009 is as follows (subject to change):

You may pay your fees with a money order, bank draft, bank transfer, traveler's cheques, debit card, or credit card (MasterCard or Visa). All payments are accepted in Canadian or US dollars only. No other currencies will be accepted. Cheques are to be made payable to Algoma University. Any cheque returned by a bank for any reason will be subject to a handling charge by the University.
Please note that international students are required to purchase health insurance to study in Canada. The insurance is UHIP, and for one year beginning in September and ending in August, the cost is $756. This cost is subject to change. Canadian students that do not have existing health coverage are required to purchase a Green Shield Plan at a cost of $300.78 for one year.
With your letter of offer you will receive information on payment of fees and due dates. Payment may be required to secure a placement in the program and all fees are due prior to registering.
You may contact Student Accounts to arrange payment. Individual payment plans are only considered in exceptional circumstances related to third-party funding and are only permitted if approved by the Director of Administration.
A student who completes, signs, and submits a Registration Form is considered to have registered and is liable for payment in full of all tuition and related fees associated with that registration. Services that may become suspended for students with outstanding accounts.
